Architecture which fills gaps in the historic surroundings has particular demands. Sustainable solutions must not only consist of dialogue with the surroundings but ideally form creative synergies. In the heart of the historical centre, the Trier Gallery gently fits into the matching, detailed city structure. It was necessary to bring neighbouring buildings with elements of gothic style, monuments and buildings of the 1950's into harmony with each other. The elegant, functional construction of the facade convincingly succeeds in doing this - conservative and contemporary. A continuous colour and material concept completes the overall impression: warm red, wood and stainless steel as well as a planted mall roof. Between Zuckerberg and Fleischstrasse, a refined shopping atmosphere with 75 businesses on three levels awaits the inhabitants of Trier.
